Loved the large spacious room and the added bonus of use of the spa. The four poster bed was extremely comfy if not a little difficult for a short person to get in and out of. Only downside was the lack of mirror to enable you to do your hair or makeup and the world’s smallest water glasses. A very pleasant and peaceful stay.

If I were to book again, I would ask for a ground floor room with air conditioning. The elevator is for luggage only, and a person with limited mobility would find the stairs (although very wide, carpeted and with handrails) a challenge. The restaurant is great for breakfast or dinner. The pool is very nice, heated and outdoors. Very helpful staff. The hotel is apparently a popular wedding venue, it was very busy the day we checked out.

Our room was very very hot needs ac ,we was give a large fan but it was very loud. Shower pressure not great. When asked for ice as our water was warm was given minimum which melted very fast, in these hot conditions fridges should be provided. Overall the staff very polite & friendly beautiful building.

A very relaxing stay. The four poster room was fantastic ..very comfortable and spacious and clean with great views of the garden. Lovely meals and we enjoyed a few hours in the garden spa .

We had a standard room with a double bed with a massive en suite with walk in shower. We were on third floor no lifts as far as i could see, the stairs felt a bit dodgy in places and it felt as if they were sloping but it is a listed building. We did not use the spa services but did have a look and they appeared to be good. Not many big shops within the immediate vicinity so it would have been nice to have a little bit more information within the room
