Lovely stay with warm hosts, breakfast is lovely

Loved the bedroom and the bath, so spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and packed lunches were delightful. Stuart and Catherine are warm hosts that instantly make you feel welcomed.

We loved our stay! The home is a beautiful example of Arts and Crafts style. The garden is exquisite and the breakfast and food delicious, but the charm and hospitality comes most from the gracious and kind hosts! They made us feel like family or cherished friends. Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts

We've just returned from a three night stay at the Lake View Guest House and miss it already. Stuart and Catherine were warm hosts and attentive to our every need, from a cup of tea and cake at check in, to the homemade gin and biscuits in the room, to the fantastic breakfast. They also provided great advice on where to eat and what to do in the surrounding area.The view from the room was spectacular. We can't wait to return!

Beautifully presented guest house

Very comfortable bedroom with fabulous bathroom, lovely toiletries, homemade biscuits and sloe gin. Delicious breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming, gave good advice on local walks and directions into town etc. Just one mile walk into Keswick and private parking a bonus. Will definitely stay here again.

Great B&B

Very comfortable room and bed, beautiful house which is exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent location for Keswick centre and walks. Great host. All in all a very pleasant break. We will book again!

Great B&B stay

We had a lovely experience at Lake View. Katherine and Stuart are so lovely, friendly, and just great hosts! Katherine had lots of home made treats on offer. Rooms were quiet, nice bath, great breakfast selection, parking, great location. Would return!

The nicest B&B we have stayed in. Incredibly clean and tastefully furnished. Very comfortable beds with crisp cotton bedding. Everything , including the lovely garden is so well- cared for. Everything we could need or want had been thought about- home-made biscuits, complimentary gin on arrival, bath robes. Excellent breakfast and very friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough to make our stay such a pleasure. Thank you.

Lake district weekend

Lakeview is a well run and friendly guesthouse run by Catherine. The room was spotless clean, all facilities worked ok, such as shower and bath,etc. Parking was on the premises and free but there was ample street parking as well. The area is quiet peaceful and very scenic. We recommend this place to you if you are looking for a traditionally run guesthouse with a homely feel. The breakfast menu was varied, wholesome and excellent quality. We would definitely stay again.

We chose the Lake View as a base for walks in the Keswick area. Everything about our stay there was exceptional. Hosts Stuart and Catherine were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The beds were super comfortable. We made good use of the downstairs lounge as a place to read and consult maps. The property is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the village, and well-served by public transportation. I highly recommend the Lake View.

Relaxing walking break.

A few days away walking. This is a fantastic place to relax after a long walk. Catherine was very friendly and served us a wonderful breakfast each morning. lovely cake on arrival and homemade biscuits each day with our coffee. What’s not to like. We will definitely use again. Thanks.
