“Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.”

“This is an excellent hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I noticed how conscientious and hard-working the restaurants and bar staff were in particular. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed a delicious roast tomato soup and local ice cream. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time in a hotel. “Staff were excellent and so helpful. Food and breakfast service was first class. The bathrrom was very modern clean and well kept. The carpet was stained and did have a little fusty smell however the overall experience and amenties were good in the room. The tea caddy table did need to be bigger was difficult to make drink on there. ”

“Got there at 8:15pm booked in and got shown to our rooms, once we put our stuff down we went down stairs to get a drink and order some food, we ordered our drink and asked for menus, we were told it had been too busy and we couldn’t get food. After a moan they apologised and brought us menus we ordered for a chicken burger and two steak pies.
