“The property was amazing. It has been restored to all its grandeur from the 17th century. The facilities have been beautifully upgraded. The beds and pillows are heavenly. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a special Mexican tasting menu during g our stay which was better than anything I’ve had in Mexico. Thank you chef Martin and staff. The morning brunch was very good. What a wonderful place and fantastic staff. We had a great stay. Thank you”

“Expedias states there is a restaurant and pizza may be available at the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. “Supposed to be a 4 star hotel but a number of issues imo. Only one lift for a large hotel seems poor. You need to drop off your bags from the car at the entrance as otherwise there are steps to negotiate from the car park. The bar restaurant is frankly very poor in terms of noise and quality of food which arrived so quickly that it was obviously not freshly cooked and was pretty tasteless.
