“First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. “The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. The upside is that there's almost no one there mid week so you almost have the place to yourself. The nearby pub and cafe/Indian...

“Jess is an amazing host, nothing is too much trouble. Mentioned I was coming for my birthday, there were balloons and a lovely welcome message, and when ordered pizza (which is so good), there was a candle. The view from the Red Suite is incredible. It is so quiet and peaceful. The suite has everything you need, real milk in the fridge, cookies and a variety of teas. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. You must try the smoothies! We will definitely be back. Thanks Jess for everything!”
