The location of the hotel is stunning! It was a great place to go relax and be in nature. I definitely felt like it was more of a good 3 star hotel. Not much personality, and the spa, although nice, is just too small for that many people, with no towels!!!! You have to take the one towel per person they give you in the room. Personnel were great and friendly.

Absolutely overpriced (which may be expected the night before New Year’s Eve), but in this case the price–performance ratio was simply not convincing. The service with the luggage at the gondola station was very friendly at first; however, we only learned later that this came with additional charges, which was disappointing. Check-in itself was friendly and efficient. The spa area is very nice and clearly a highlight of the hotel. The bar has a pleasant atmosphere, but the service did not feel professional enough to justify the overall price level of the Hotel. Unfortunately, a lack of basic guest care stood out: I developed a headache and had forgotten my migraine medication (my fault). As there is no pharmacy in the village, I was surprised that the hotel could not provide even a basic painkiller. It took two hours before a single paracetamol tablet was organized. Absolutely overpriced (which may be expected the night before New Year’s Eve), but in this case the price–performance ratio was simply not convincing. The service with the luggage at the gondola station was very friendly at first; however, we only learned later that this came with additional charges, which Lunch on the terrace was another disappointment: slow and inattentive service combined with very average food Overall, the experience would benefit from either more realistic pricing or significantly more consistent service quality. At the current price level, guests’ expectations are understandably higher

Mixed Experience at a Scenic Mountain Retreat

Pros: -Scenic location amidst the great mountains and near a remote village -Friendly staff proficient in English Impressive amenities, including a pool, spa, and restaurant -Exceptional dog-friendly policies -Breathtaking views of the mountains and lake -Overall cleanliness and quiet atmosphere Cons: -Inefficient check-in after 6 PM process with only one staff member for two buildings -Arriving late (around 6 pm), we had to request a room change and building transfer; otherwise, we were considering leaving the hotel altogether due to initial dissatisfaction. -Two distinct buildings, with a significant difference in quality -Rooms in the other building do not offer value for money -Misleading description on hotels.com; it doesn't mention the building disparities -A lot of rooms in the other building have poor views (facing a wall) -Rooms in the other building are not well-equipped and organized -Construction site in front of the reception of the other building can be confusing and off-putting

Allerdings fehlt die persönliche Note. Bei einem Hotel dieser Klasse erwarte ich kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie eine Schöggeli auf dem Zimmer oder frische Früchte zur Begrüssung. Körperpflegeprodukte gehören eigentlich zur Grundausstattung, auch hier fehlte beispielsweise eine Creme oder Bodylotion. Schade.

Ich habe dieses Hotel als Geschenk für meine Freunde gebucht, weil ich bereits 2x dort war und jedesmal so begeistert bin. Für mich mit Abstand das schönste Wellness Hotel in der Schweiz. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend. Meine Freunde waren auch sehr begeistert und planen schon die nächste Reise.
