This is wonderful quaint cortege type hotel with a wonderful proprietor. Rooms were very clean, and beds had nice firm comfortable mattresses. We will stay here again when returning to the area.

The Best in Town

Can't fault the Colonial Motel.. the onsite owners were most welcoming and friendly. The Colonial Motel is located just up the road (5 minute walk .. uphill) from Kerikeri's best hotel/restaurant the Pligh and Feather!

A wonderful stay for a week. A very reasonable price for a fantastic visit. Warm and helpful staff, calm and nicely laid out grounds. Perfectly located at the centre of New Zealand's founding national sites and history (an easy walk to the Inlet with Mission Station, with its store, cafe, and a nearby pub/restaurant on the water). Altogether charming and comfortable!
