“Overall, the stay was disappointing except for the location.
It may have been a decent place when it first opened, but it has clearly not been maintained at all. The bathroom fixtures were rusted, and the cleanliness was especially poor. There was dust and other people’s hair on the bed, so I requested a re-clean. However, I was told that cleaning had already been completed and that I could clean it myself if I wanted.

“The host was quickly responsive and very helpful. The sofa and its mattress were very lumpy and uncomfortable, but the kitchen was nicely stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. There was no salt, but we left some (and coffee) for the next guests.”

“I enjoyed my brief stay at the property. The check in process was unusual. I talked with the property manager via Ring and the place was unlocked. Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out.
The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard. The room was quiet and comfortable.
