Vacations Close To Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

This was a great place to stay. Room was a nice size, with microwave and refrigerator. The building has a fun country Lodge theme. Very quiet. Close enough to the highway, but set back near a small nature preserve. Lovely setting. Large breakfast room with hot breakfast selections, some fruit, cereal, pastries. Restaurants not too far away. I would stay here again.

The Inn at Ophelia's is the best place to stay when exploring Independence Missouri. The second floor rooms are very comfortably furnished. The restaurant below is excellent. Independence Square, where Ophelia's is located, has historical sites related to the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails, Civil War Battles and President Harry S. Truman.

We’ve stayed at this location multiple times and are always so impressed with the staff, cleanliness, and how close it is to all of the things we like to do!

The staff was so lighthearted and hilarious! The rooms were super clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great!
