garden of Kelmscott Manor is a Grade-I-listed Elizabethan house in Oxfordshire leased by William Morris and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. It was later purchased by Jane Morris
Kelmscott Manor, once the home of William Morris. A number of buildings in the village have associations with Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement. The Manor is illustrated in William Morris's 'News from Nowhere'. This view, in late October, is from the SE, from the track leading to the river.

River Thames near Kelmscott In the distance there is a small car park. This is at the end of a lane which comes down here from the village of Kelmscott, or Kelmscot, as it is often spelt. The lane passes the famous Kelmscott Manor and is much used by fishermen. Near here is a field used for caravans in the warmer months of the year.

Kelmscott Memorial Hall View of rear elevation. Designed by Ernest Gimson (1864-1919), but not built until after his death. The building was commissioned by May Morris, daughter of William Morris (1834-1896) of Kelmscott Manor. The Hall was officially opened by George Bernard Shaw in October 1934.
