“The sunflower owners and are extremely helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble”

“Room was lovely and clean and plenty or space. Staff on reception very helpful and nice. Only small downside was it would be good to put in the description that the parking area is tight and it was a bit of a struggle parking a larger car”

“This is my favourite place to stay. Clean rooms with everything you need for a short stay. The food is amazing and plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend”

“Nice big room with a very comfortable bed. Lovely and quiet, so had a great nights sleep. Handy for the nearby hospital. Very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend for a work trip.”

“Lovely setting with some great architecture. Friendly family run hotel but somewhat tired in places. Disappointed by the most bizarre room which had a full size stainless steel kitchen segregating a reasonably nice bedroom from the large but rather odd bathroom (which also housed the wardrobe). Had its own ‘orangery’ and small garden. Loads of blinds to close, some of which were broken and the orangery outer doors had no blinds. I let the person at the other end of the text messages know, and we were “upgraded” to another room (slightly larger and had a bathtub instead of a shower). This ...

“The Arms is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, in great shape, lovely staff and food and a nice room. The ONLY thing I would point out is that the tv channel options were limited and as my wife and I were fresh to the timezone it would have been nice to have some more channel choices when we couldn’t sleep.”

“Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. Would recommend and stay again.”

“We enjoyed a good overnight stay at East Ayton Lodge Hotel, which was comfortable and well-situated. We were happy with our room and with dinner and breakfast. The room was fine for our dog and the garden provided an opportunity for a short walk ...”
