Lots of families and larger groups that seem to know each other and speaking various foreign languages (not much English heard although the staff were easy to speak to in English). One of the few actual sandy beaches in the area and one can walk along the beach quite a ways with a stretch that has sand dunes. The sea can be a bit rough if the wind is up.
