Electra Kefalonia is an amazing hotel and perfect ambience for our Greek Island getaway! The staff was very nice and friendly. We had a wonderful breakfast each morning and a couple of fantastic dinners! The room was comfortable and clean, perfect night of sleep and naps after a day at the beach. We look forward to returning again soon!

Situated near the airport, the hotel/resort is easy to get to. The hotel will arrange airport transport for a small fee. It is well staffed and exceptionally clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is on the ocean with access to a nice nearby beach. Several economical restaurants are within 2-3 minutes walk. Rental cars are available at the property (requiring international driving license) and are a must for seeing the area and the island. There are no shuttles to nearby towns or other parts of the island, so the rental car is the way to go. The restaurant food is very good, as is the free breakfast. The only "down side" would be the for the breakfast buffet where food was not replaced for long periods, example fried eggs and other items went empty for a while before they were refreshed. Other than that the place is really nice.

A very warm welcome from Dana & Christos. The rooms were kept beautifully clean, with fresh towels daily & frequent linen change. Complimentary drinks in fridge plus tea, coffee etc. Breakfasts were first class with a huge variety of food available .We also enjoyed many lovely meals in the evening & bar meals were available throughout most of the day. The pool was a good temperature & kept very clean. The staff at this Hotel are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, everyone smiles. Dana arranged a surprise Birthday cake for my husbands 80th, which was delicious ( Thanks to the chef. ) The restaurant staff, led by Thomasis & his most attentive team, Polydorus, Thannis, Artemis, Fonteinni & Christina & everyone else we met & also those behind the scenes, a big' thank you' to you all for making our stay so memorable. We hope to return in the future.

Amazing hotel and staff. Our stay at this hotel was sooo good, comfortable, awesome view, very friendly and serviable restaurant staff especially the manager of the restaurant, Yianna, who is very professional and lovely person. Reception staff also very helpful in recommending us to great restaurants and beaches on the island. We would definitely go back to this hotel and to this heavenly island.

This property is amazing. Other reviews mention the proximity to the airport and that is true however that should not be a deterrent to staying at this amazing property. The rooms are beautiful, the view is beautiful, the staff are so accommodating and welcoming and friendly. I would love to have an opportunity to return to this property again one day!

I don't want to say any bad things because the staff was so friendly and helpful, we wish we had such staff in any hotel we went, but surrounding was so boring with no vibe at all, very poor beach and no windows that could cope with airport noise

We loved everything about the hotel and the stay - staff in particular were absolutely wonderful, gorgeous pool and rooms were lovely. Only thing we hadn’t realised was just how close it was to the airport with planes flying right overhead. That said there were not many planes at all, maybe 7 or so a day so it wasn’t a problem.

Lovely time

the hotel is lovely. i like it that it has small number of guests, so it make it more cosy. as there are private pools there, then the main pool isn’t that busy, so i really liked it. the staff was great. Marianela from the bar was amazing. young lad who was serving us for breakfast was friendly too. the same was gor the lad called Captain. the room was spacious and had so many storage areas that was great. what was missing in our room was the drying clothes rack in the balcony. apart from that i really liked the room. bed was so comfy. wish the gym was bigger with a smith machine, but you can’t have everything 😉 at least there were dumbbells 👍 thanks again. regarding spa area, there was a lovely girl working (unfortunately i don’t remember the name) in the morning when we arrived and she explained to me all the treatments. the treatments sounded great, but the prices are very high tho. breakfast food was lovely!

Amazing experience and place! The location is great just few mins away fron the airport. Very clean and always ready to help. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The receptionist in particular one Dana was so polite and helpfull. She helped me a lot to organize my boat trip which was difficult because everything was fully booked. The hotel is beautiful and the athmosphere was great. Very nice for couple.

Lovely resort however please note that you are less than 5 minutes away from the airport and planes fly directly over the hotel from 7am- 10:30pm. If I’d known how noisy it was going to be I wouldn’t have booked this resort. However the staff was very lovely and made our stay enjoyable. I also wouldn’t call it a 5 star resort. A 5 star resort is a Four Seasons, or Aman- this hotel was no where near that so it’s not fair to classify it as such as it is deceptive to future guests.
