This was a fabulous bed and breakfast. Kelly’s hospitality was excellent. It is also situated in a good spot for visiting all the things on the east side of Big Island. Tremendous value for the money 👍

Location was perfect to avoid Hilo traffic it you frequent to Volcano National Park or Mauna Kea or Kona. Kelly is an amazing host and her breakfast was amazing that personalized vegan/ vegetarian preferences as well. Kitchen was well stocked that guests can use for preparing their own meals. Hot tub is well kept and open till 10 pm.

We had a short and sweet stay at Kelly’s home. The space itself is warm and inviting. The room and bathroom were clean, And the free homemade breakfast is an incredible bonus. Her papaya muffins are simply divine, light, flavorful, and made with love — the perfect way to start each morning in paradise. If you’re visiting Hawaii, don’t think twice. Kelly was a wonderful host. Since she had cancellations while we were there (Jan 2026) she upgraded us to the master with ensuite. There are 3 bedrooms in total. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were all kinds of snacks and coffee, tea, milk available. Kelly made lovely breakfast for us each morning and was so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Hilo. You do need a car. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B. Thank you Kelly and Roger for a great stay as we explored the Hilo area.
