Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hideaway Hotel. The food was exceptional, and the Mandarina restaurant truly stood out—every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and delicious. The attention from the staff was outstanding, always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the experience even more special. The spa was incredible—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Everything was amazing at The Hideaway, from the beautiful room to the absolutely breathtaking property and the wonderful staff. We had such a memorable experience here we will never forget. We did the night walk and saw birds, snakes and red eyed frogs! The food was amazing for dinner at each restaurant, and the breakfast was incredible. An outstanding hotel Staff were so friendly and helpful Room was stylish, large, lived the outdoor shower 2 restaurants food was excellent in both and wines very good Breakfast was best in Costa Rica - buffet style - lots of choice and delicious Bar area was fun for a pre dinner cocktail and a fun games room Pool area was lovely and tranquil with a great hot whirl pool for relaxing in after morning activities The free afternoon yogo with Jeremy was fantastic and so nice after a day tubing The trail walks were great for bird spotting and we had a nice swim in the Rio Celeste at the bottom Definetely recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel that was really enjoyable!

We had a fantastic four night stay here. The rooms are huge but a little rustic. However, the rest was excellent. Great restaurant, awesome food, very friendly and capable staff throughout, nice spa, modern gym, lovely little coffee shop, etc. Some great wildlife around as well. An absolute gem in the middle of a rain forest.

Private individual villa rooms. Large room and love the outdoor shower. Food was awesome, and staff were very attentive, friendly and top service. There is a large balcony, but as for garden view rooms, there is nothing to see there. Thick plants were up to the balcony and nothing to see. Hotel has nice loop hiking trail behind the hotel and trail also takes you to the river, so if you want to swim there, you could. Hotel is conveniently located close to the park and other activities.

This place was beautiful. The rooms are lovely and huge. There's the best staff. Katherine, Josue, Ismael and Jennifer were so wonderful. There's nothing they won't do to make you happy. The pool and grounds are beautiful. The food has many breakfast and dinner selections and lunch can be out by the pool or in the dining room. There are toucans and monkeys and sloth there. The monkeys visited one day at breakfast they kept popping their head down to say hello.
