Best service! the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help! If you are looking for a traditional feeling hotel in Thamel close to everything this is for you! The kindest most helpful staff! Excellent value! Nice breakfast! Has an elevator! I was traveling with my elderly mother and my two children and this was convenient.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The facilities including my room and bathroom were quite clean. The location was excellent for shopping. And the staff were very responsive, professional, and helpful. The manager, Mr. Probin Shah, took great care in making my stay memorable. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at Kasthamandap Boutique Hotel. The price was great for the location and felt I got value for my money. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good and had good variety during my 10 day stay. Manager was very willing to help coordinate any tourist activities you would like. Would definitely come back and stay again.

My new go-to place in Kathmandu

Property is located in a quiet section of Thamel. Rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. It has a very nice rooftop terrace to relax. However, the best part of this hotel is the amazing staff! Prabin, the hotel manager, made me feel right at home. He took care of all my transportation arrangements within the area and to the airport at very fair prices. Prabin and his staff are very knowledeable about anything and everything you would want to know about your visit to Kathmandu. They even offered me cold medicine and lemon honey tea when I came down with a cold for two days during my stay! These guys are tge best! Will stay here again

Comfortable, clean and central

Great staff, clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Stayed at this hotel before going on a trek to the everest base camp. On the way back had to check back in because the stay was so pleasant. Stayed there for a week before the flight back home.

Great hotel in Thamel

This was our favorite hotel when staying in the Kathmandu area. Our room was large and comfortable with lots of windows and views. The staff was always available and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic with a large spread of croissants, yogurt, fruit and other dishes. The location was good on a small street in Thamel so it was close to everything but also quiet. It was an all around superb experience.

Highly recommended.

Staff treat you like family. They’re very helpful and gives honest suggestions. The hotel is clean and cozy, decorated traditionally. I was assigned at the highest floor and had a great view of the area. The area is the hotspot for tourists, and is full of restaurants and other hotels.

quality nepali hotel

I arrived quite late and was welcomed with a smile and efficiently checked in. Water was in my room.. Bed was comfortable and room was really clean. Area was a little bit noisy because of building work in front. In the morning there were cooking fumes flowing through my door but other than that. They have a nice roof terrace where u can relax. Breakfast was nice and they provide u tea or coffee out of breakfast hours. Nice place

Great pleasant stay in nice boutique hotel!

Great hotel, the staff are very friendly and eager to help and please their guests. The rooms are excelent with decent Wifi. It definitely has a Boitiuqe feel, not in your typical chain hotel. Great breakfast over all. Really good location in Thamel, walkalbe distance around town for shopping, ATM, pharmacy, restaurants, supermarket ala Nepal etc. Two things to improve: 1. Didn't make our rooms daily as advertised even though I stayed for a total of 6 days in 2 different stays, even though I did request it and left a door sign for such purpose. 2. Had 2 boxed breakfast for take away. One was really bad and the other one was Ok. Overall great stay, very well priced for the location and amenities. Would recomend!

False pricing by Expedia

I booked through Expedia.co.in thinking that the prices were in Nepali rupees. When I checked my credit card they charged me Indian rupees. In that case, hotel Price is just too expensive. There are numerous other great hotels around d for much cheaper prIce. I feel doomed on this aspect. I think Expedia should refund the difference. I paid CAD$345 which should have been ~CAD$215 or so. Hotel, however, was not bad at all. Staff were really helpful; restaurant had really good breakfast choices. Hotel looked authentic and boutique indeed. I'd stay here again but the price is a bit expensive as I said earlier. My daughter was looking for a swimming pool which wasn't there. Next time I'd likely look for something with a swimming pool.
