The motel has recently been renovated. The room was neat but the room door kept jamming. The towels and face washer had dirty stains on them. The sheets were a 'dirty white' colour and we were unsure as to whether they had been changed. The fridge in the room was very noisy. The water in the swimming pool was murky and appeared to not have a filter and had no chlorine smell at all. We hopped out very quickly. The owner was friendly and you can tell that they are wanting to do a good job. However, it is definitely very average and when you're having to sleep in a motel with spikes on the fences and an electric gate that is closed at night to keep the locals out, it's a little unsettling. If you're looking for a cheap and poor to average motel this is fine, but do not expect any more.

The property was clean and the area very quiet. You can see that renovations were being completed and look very good. The car park area is a little small but can also see this is a work in progress. The property is quite centrally located in Katherine.

Was clean and the aircon worked really well. Contrary to most other properties, the tv was well connected and allowed for viewing of streaming services. The area felt a bit disconnected but it was very quiet and we had a good night sleep.

I really liked this place. It’s…honest? Basic, but clean, comfortable, spacious. We had to motel hop, and this was my fave. Loved the bright walls, fresh paint, friendly staff. No frills, but genuine. Good vibe, and central.

K-Town Hotel is just what you need after a long drive in the outback. Hassan and his wife are doing a terrific job with this business in a difficult and remote location. The room was perfectly comfortable, clean and well appointed. The king bed was very comfy and sheets clean and soft. Great shower, full size fridge, huge smart tv and a very inviting pool which we didn’t use. Easy and secure parking with automatic locking gate after 7:30pm. Highly recommended

I will never deal with this motel or Wotif again. Both blames each other for a cancellation that was not applied and I had to cover full cost without staying there. I tried to communicate with both several times with no compassion for my situation.

Pubes throughout, shower needed cleaning as floor had some sort of substance on the shower floor making it slippery, no blanket on second bed, toilet not cleaned and when telling the owner all he wanted was to not have a bad review and that rooms get checked randomly. The place presented quite well in the pictures but the new Reno job is a bit below par. New appliances though and staff member at the front desk was helpful. Unfortunately there was no running water when we arrived after our long drive (these things happen though), but also little things like our bath mat being damp, toilet seat had the word “slayer” etched into the top of it haha, back of the toilet leaked, and we also had ants come into the room (partly our fault as we had something sweet in our bag). The staff was helpful in trying to remedy this but we just felt that we were a bit hard done by for what we payed. Expect a hostel done up cheaply to look like a hotel and you’ll be satisfied
