Front desk was so nice. Room was very clean. Loved the sky lights that could open for fresh air. It was a comfortable room for 4. The location was convenient for our day driving trips.

Wonderful village!...great location for me to Lahr(where I met and married my wife)..also 8kilos. from a ferry into France...as for the Hotel Engel, they could put a fan(cheap) in the rooms there....some nights, very very hot!!...but I would still refer friends, family and business associates.As for the food ,I would easily rate it #1 on the German food .

Zimmer und die gastronomische Möglichkeiten waren toll. Aber beim Check out wurde uns mitgeteilt das wir noch die Übernachtung bezahlen müssen obwohl wir das längst getan haben. Nach über einer stunde warten und nur mit der Hilfe von Expedia wurde der Fehler seitens des Hotels festgestellt. Schade wir haben über eine stunde verloren die wir gerne im Europa-Park verbracht hätten

What an amazing hotel and front restaurant. The staff was great and very good full breakfast. I well be back to stay here again.
