The staff was amazing, view was amazing, location was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Was bummed the washing machine amenities weren’t available and wish the room was better cleaned but overall the stay was great.

Hotel Coral Reef was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The view and beach behind the hotel was beautiful. The hotel was in the perfect location with so many food options that are walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for a chill and relaxing trip to Kauai.

Definitely an older hotel but the view, welcoming staff, and very well maintained grounds make it worth it. Very easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and numerous food carts. We just left and are already planning our next visit!

Nice place! Would've used the coffee machine but it wasn't the most clean, and the fridge had a smell so we didn't end up using that either, other than that, it's a nice place to stay. Great views!

Right on the beach and boardwalk. Incredible value for the price! Big room, nice bathroom, ocean facing balcony, free access to bikes etc. location is on the man drag so you are right there for restaurants and shopping.

Booked it on a whim as i needed a place to stay for an evening very last minute. Woman at checkin was so upbeat and nice. Facility was older but extremely clean and well maintained which i honestly prefer to the marble walled resorts. Located on a super pretty beach, plenty pf amenities/food within walking distance.

Property has a great view of the ocean and is centrally located between major attractions. However, we would not stay here again. Upon arrival, the room was very dirty. Dead cockroach in the bathtub, another dead bug in the bedsheets, bedsheets stained, shower curtain and air conditioning moldy, holes in the walls filled with paper towels. The staff was welcoming and friendly though relatively unhelpful. The free bikes were broken and limited help was available. The balcony was beautiful and we spent every night out there. However, the people around us were constantly smoking which made the experience less pleasant. Parking here is very limited. We regularly struggled to find parking or took the last spot available. Hawaii is beautiful and Kapa’a is a fine place to stay. For the price and experience, I would recommend looking at another hotel.
