Awesome staff and place to stay for the nomad travelers my my wife and I are. Right next to train station and night market within walking distance. Would stay again for sure!

Very spacious room. Japanese toilet which is plus point and thankfully a common thing in Taiwan. Malin and Goetz products including conditioner which was nice. Staff were very friendly and keen to help. They have a great selection of food and drink available during the afternoon for guests. Very close to the main train station - walkable, and not a problem if travelling with big suitcase.

Friendly staff and great location.

We were at the Joho for 11days and was in an 03 unit - with bathtub. Overall experience was fantastic from the front desk to the dining room to room service. Lesley, Lily, Nikki and Ken were super friendly and very accommodating in all ways. We had a lot of running around to do so it was great to come back to a nice hotel to relax. Location was excellent as it was very close to the Kaoshiung Main Station so access to local trains to Tainan, Chiayi, etc. as well as MRT. Overall we would definitely stay here gain when back in Kaoshiung.

Good hotel

Great hotel with new renovation. Provide excellent comp food at second floor and service was superb. Only down side was AC was facing bed so kind of giving us a headache while sleeping.

The hotel is conviently located in walking distance to the Main Train Station. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large with shower and bath tub. The staff is very friendly, however some of the people lack almost any knowlegde of english language.

Value for money. Good service attitude, cleanliness and facility is what makes a pleasant stay. So far the one hotel i come across where the actual room surpasses the photo advertised online. The free flow of snacks and drinks on level 2 is an added bonus.

Near station,we`re grad to be given many infomation of breakfast restaurant before staying. All staff are kindness. If we can require,lounge hour will be extend more deep night.It's good searvice but too early closed to use one.So we arrived airport at over 22hour. Thanks lots.

Short relax trip

We arrived pasted scheduled check'ib time so no need to wait for room. Staffs were friendly and helpful with enquiries. Detailed information on available amenities & guest services were explained clearly during check-in, a sheet with a QR code was provided with the room keys if guest wished to review all these information again. Although no view from the room but thre was a window with a murat painted wall view. Only complain we had was the aircon vent facing the bed directly. Even with the vent adjusted, the cold air is still blowing in the face when laying in bed.

Great location

First impression by the friendly staff at the reception made a good start of the stay. Fantastic location which is just 5 minutes walk to Kaohsiung Train Station to access the mrt and the regional train services. About 8 minutes walk to Farmosa mrt station that serves 2 mrt lines. Room is very well appointed and clean. Hotel guests are invited to the lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktail with an impressive array of snacks and beverages. Alcoholic beverages are served in the evening. I find the offerings at the lounge even surpasses the Executive Lounge at Hilton Taipei Sinban, where I was staying as well, as a Hilton Daimond member. My only grouse is with the inadequate sound insulation. Sound from the corridor can be heard distinctively in the room. And the same the other way round. Be very careful with your private conversation in the room, as what is transpired can also be heard clearly in the corridor.

We are on the 4th night of our 6-night stays. In addition to the food many reviewers have already mentioned, I am particularly impressed by the great services my wife and I have received by all the staff we have encountered so far. They are all very courteous and well-trained. One very professional server Andy, gave us great service at breakfast on our first morning. We just ran into him again during afternoon happy hour and he offered to give me a specially made cocktail which tasted wonderful. We only to find out later that he is the General Manager of the hotel, the big boss himself. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and have never had such an honor been served by the top guy at the hotel before. Andy and his team have really impressed us and made me look good, because my wife has said more than twice already that she really likes this hotel. Thank you, Andy. Wishing you continue success.
