Great resort. Food was actually fantastic, even room service. Housekeeping and fridge restock was excellent. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, rooms and pools a little dated, but large and comfortable. Entertainment was great, hydrotherapy and seaside massage was incredible.

The food was excellent. The only restaurant that was not good was the seafood restaurant. Staff and evening activities were amazing! The pools need some work and rooms updating but had a wonderful time! Loved this property

Enjoyed our quick stay here. Felt safe the whole time. Wonderful staff. Did not end up doing the cenote excursion. Pools were relaxing but kind of crowded since the beach was full of sargassum. The hotel did a good job of trying to clean up the beach as much as possible and we were able to enjoy the water on our last day. Would go back.

The staff at the El Dorado are amazing. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They really go the extra mile for all of the guests not just the VIPs. There is a lot of seaweed in July, but they did their best to set up a seaweed free beach.
