Upon check-in I was able to observe 3 police officers coming into the lobby. They spoke to the clerk regarding a person of interest that was staying at the hotel. I still proceeded with check in and the clerk was very kind and professional. The room was presentable but did have a musty odor.

Moderately priced, this property is clean and well maintained. The concrete parking lot is cracked, but I only cared about the interior condition. Right off of the freeway and main Lee Summit arteries, but very quiet. An Aldi next door and restaurants within walking distance. For a stay in Lees Summit, this is a good choice.

Good Stay

This hotel is good for a short term stay. I stayed here for 18 days straight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I didnt have to worry about noise or anything. Be careful walking in the parking lot as there are many holes and you could be easily injured and do some damage to your tires. Very nice area and there are plenty of food options close to the hotel. The free breakfast wont have alot of options but overall i would definitely stay here again.

Reserved for a young adult in town visiting. Check in was easy, staff was friendly & efficient. It’s a little rough, but it was fine for younger adults. They enjoyed the pool, clean & temp was great. For people not familiar with the area, based on appearance you may not think it’s a safe area, but it is. Special thanks to the front desk lady! She was wonderful!

we arrived 10 minutes prior to the 3:00 p.m. check in time and the lady behind the desk told me to wait until 3:00 p.m. She did offer me coffee while I waited, but I went back out to the car. The room itself was clean overall, the bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom floor was dirty, we could even see dirt/dust in the corners along with hair that was not our hair, as we had just arrived. The parking lot certainly needs attention as there were many pot holes.

This motel has a convenient location for us to visit relatives. The first room was not acceptable to us: it appeared that the bathroom had not been cleaned, there was no stopper for the tub and the shower was lacking a faucet. We were quickly switched to another room which was much better. We will likely stay there again. Not a great motel, but good for the price.

I honestly dont understand why there is all the hate in these reviews. Could it use a fresh coat of paint in some areas? Sure. Did my mini fridge work? No. Was it a great stay with helpful staff and comfortable accommodations? Absolutely.

Not bad not great.

The bed was one of the best and the room was freezing which I love . I had booked a king and got a double queen so that was a bummer. The towels and tub were gross. The room was next to the pool and smelled like a pool. Would I stay there again ya if I need a quick room but not in my first 10 picks.

A budget review.

Service checking in/out was fine. Cleaning people were friendly. Rooms were somewhat clean, bathrooms and beds were clean but floors were suspect as you could see hair and other dirt or debris in corners. Chair was stained and looked filthy. Would not sit on it. A/C unit was abnormally noisy. Too much rattling noise. I know, you get what you pay for. I don’t think it’s too much to ask of any budget motel to maintain rooms and ensure furniture and rooms are very clean.

Ummm… It’s A “No” For Me

This property needs an immediate remodel. The parking lot pavement is dangerous for walking and driving. There were people hanging outside behind the building at all times of the day and night so I didn’t feel safe. The owner of the property has a bad temper, especially towards people of color. My hotel room was busted up. The shower had holes in the walls. The sink counter was falling off. Out of nowhere an exterminator came to spray for bugs in our room while we were laying in bed. We had to ask for an iron and ironing board as these were not automatically provided for guests. The complimentary breakfast that was provided only consisted of cereal, apples, and waffles. The door to our room did not close well. It looked like it had been kicked in a few times. The only perks was that there was hot water when taking a shower, the bed sheets were clean, the room was spacious and quiet, and Aldi’s is nearby in case you need snacks.

I have no room to gloat about this, just sharing raw experience over time. I've stayed in hotels, counting it all up, for almost two years. The parking lot is average, it isn't bad, but you should pay attention to where you put your feet, it's not friendly to distractions while carrying stuff. Other than that very common really nonissue... it doesn't get cleaner than this hotel. Both rooms I've been in have been spotless. They don't overpromise breakfast like many super 8s do, and is much the same, but with more choices than average. Not empty on cereal and milk by 7am. I've seen many different kinds and styles of housekeepers, and both i interacted with here made conversation welcoming and simple. I had trouble keeping up with how nice they were. Much respect for their work ethic and attitude. The one gripe i have is electrical. All but two outlets in the second room(walls, lamps, power strips, ALL) were so loose it may not make contact at all if you wiggle it, or make those very noticeable and unmistakable arcs and sparks, visually and audibly. I only needed two but they weren't where i liked them. Will stay again, many times im sure.

I've stayed at this hotel in the past a number of times. I like the fact I can look out the window at my vehicle. I always get the first floor. The person that was working the lobby desk when I checked in and I guess throughout the evening well she's very personable. And she knows a job she's been doing it for a long time. She recently changed a few personal features like her hair colors and I didn't recognize her at first. So what I'm saying is that every time she is here it goes smooth as silk. Forgive me for not throwing her name out there I'm drawing a blank right now. Now there are some others I've talked with and they're good too here at the hotel. Look at the price compare it with the prices of others. You get more for your money here because it's maybe half the price of some of the other places roughly speaking. It's clean. It's got a little swimming pool inside it's good for splashing around. The oldies is right there the home depot's right there the restaurants is right out in front. I'll stay here again.
