They say first impressions are everything, and this Comfort Inn missed that in the elevator on the way up to the room. Stepping in to the elevator we found old, dirty carpet, trash on the floor, foot prints on the wall, and overall had us worried about what the room would look like. Fortunately the room was clean. We will not stay in a Comfort Inn again, just too many things that needed updating that made us uncomfortable.

I understand that they are renovating, but the elevator had a horrible odor. I had to cover my nose every time I entered. We had to request them to service our room. I don't need new towels or sheets every day, but it is nice to have a bed made. Friendly staff and comfortable bed.

The front desk was not necessarily the friendliest. She checked us in and gave us the room keys. The carpet in the hallways was uneven. The room seemed clean. The shower made this awful sound when it was on.

The room was fine, but the hotel must be being remodeled so the carpet in the hallways had bubbled in places. Additionally, the street or train noise was quite loud at night. Good breakfast in the morning though, and the staff was nice and friendly! The pool could use improvement also...It is what i expected for the price.
