Hotel 25min walk from Tooth Temple

The hotel is situated about a 20-25min walk from the Kandy Tooth relic temple. It is a good place for one night in Kandy. The WiFi does not reach the room, but you can go down to the lobby and get WiFi there. The rooms are nice, there was not much hot water. The dance center is next door and they have shows at night. We got there late at night, but the show might end around 7-8pm. If you are in Kandy for a few days I’d recommend this hotel.

Great views, bit basic otherwise

This hotel is well located for the sights of Kandy, a little bit of a walk but not too far. The views are stunning. The bed was unfortunately extremely creaky and uncomfortable and the mosquito net was not big enough to cover the bed. However, for the cost, which included dinner and breakfast, it was perfectly adequate.

Lovely stay at the nature walk

Had an absolutely lovely stay at the nature walk. Terrific breakfast and good location. Would recommend using tuk tuk's and out of the town as the footpaths are limited immediately around the hotel. Can't fault the place!

Quel bonheur de pouvoir laisser l'air et la lumiĂšre entrer en la chambre aprĂšs 17 jours de prison anti moustique.... Wi-Fi d'excellente qualitĂ© seulement en rĂ©ception... Quelques livres en français Ă  disposition dans les Ă©tages.... Visite des macaques donc attention de fermer votre porte fenĂȘtre.... 15 minutes de marche du lac et du temple.... PossibilitĂ© de marcher jusqu'Ă  la station de train facilement en Ă  peine 40 minutes.... Personnels souriants et serviables.

Hotel met prachtig uitzicht

De locatie van het hotel is perfect. Je bent vlakbij het centrum van Kandy, maar merkt niets van het lawaai van de stad. Het uitzicht is fantastisch. Ontbijt prima. Wij verbleven in een budget room, waar het erg vochtig was zonder ventilatiemogelijkheden (geen ramen). Voor een fijn verblijf is het beter om wat meer te betalen en een kamer te nemen met uitzicht en een balkon. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Good accommodation set away from the city hustle

We had an enjoyable stay at Nature Walk Resort Kandy. The view from the hotel over the hills made a lovely change from the bustle of the city down the road. We also enjoyed the short walk down to the lake and sacred tooth relic temple rather than taking a tuk tuk.

Good hotel for cheap accommodation in Kandy

A cheap, good basic hotel with a friendly staff. The balcony and dining room has good views over the forest. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Keep the windows and doors closed as there are a lot of macaque monkeys around looking for mischief. It is possible to walk to the centre of Kandy from the hotel.

Hotellin sijainti oli hieman syrjÀinen, mutta kÀvellen + tuktuk-kyydillÀ keskustaan pÀÀsi kokonaisuudessaan n. 15 minuutissa, joten sijainti oli meille aivan sopiva. Saimme ilmeisesti tuplabuukkauksesta johtuen ensimmÀiselle yölle vÀÀrÀn huoneen, mutta tÀmÀ korvattiin meille toisen yön "sviitillÀ". Toisen yön huone korvasi helposti ensimmÀisen yön virheen ja kokemus jÀi hotellista kokonaisuudessaan erinomaiseksi! Ruokailutilat olivat hotellin ylimmÀssÀ kerroksessa, josta avautui upea nÀköala Kandyn vuoristoalueisiin. Hotellin hinta-laatusuhde oli erinomainen!

Enkla rum men fin utsikt

VÀldigt enkelt och litet rum (bokade vanligt dubbelrum) med flÀkt, men billigt. Ingenstans att göra av vÀskorna dÄ det knappt fanns nÄgon golvyta eller avlastningsyta. Badrum utan ventilation och inget duschdraperi eller duschskrapa, vilket gjorde att det var konstant blött och fuktigt dÀr inne. Frukosten var helt ok (ingick ej), vi Ät middag tvÄ kvÀllar i hotellets restaurang men det var ingen höjdare nÄgon av kvÀllarna. Ett stort plus för den vackra utsikten frÄn restaurangen samt för servicen i receptionen som hjÀlpte oss boka tur till Sigiriya och Dambulla till bra pris samt taxi till Nuwara Eilya. Tar ca 10 min att gÄ in till Kandy.

Nette, saubere Bleibe in Kandy

Wir haben zwei NĂ€chte hier verbracht. Das Hotel ist sauber und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. NatĂŒrlich keine Luxusunterkunft, aber da man vermutlich eh nur zum Schlafen hier ist absolut in Ordnung. Zu Fuß benötigt man ca 15 min in die Stadt (kleiner Fußweg zwischen dem Kandy Lake und dem Zahntempel. Da Autos/TukTuks um den See herum fahren mĂŒssen ist man somit zu Fuß definitiv nicht langsamer...).
