I really enjoyed by stay at the hotel. The room is compact but well equipped. The breakfast is quite authentic. Love the fact that you can have an open view from the balcony up on the 13th floor, and see different trains passing.

Great stay!!

The tami rooms were "roomy" and very clean and comfortable with supplied jinbei. The included breakfast buffet was a most excellent Japanese offering. The Japanese bath spa was excellent with several varying tubs and included personal amenities. Location was perfect, walking distance to train station and shops...would definatly return and recommend!

We opted for the Japanese style room - tatami mats with mattresses on the floor and it was perfectly comfortable but if you don’t like the idea of getting up off the floor, opt for the standard room. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and it’s an easy walk from Kanazawa Stn.

It took a little walking to get to the hotel, yet it was a safe and comfortable distance to the station. Easy check-in and out, private, beautiful, calming, and new interiors. The bedding is excellent, offering good rest to our tired feet from city walking in Kanazawa.

Great value for money

Stayed in late May. Good location near train station, bus to Omicho market, Kenroku-en Garden. Unusually ( for me), the reception is on 13th floor, which is above all the guest rooms. Small parking lot at ground floor for about 10 cars. Firm bed. Only drawback is the slight noise from the train as hotel is right next to train track.

The hotel is within walkable range from Kanazawa Station. There's 2 shopping malls in between, one which you could walk through to reach the hotel and avoid some rain and snow. There's free coffee and tea for lodgers, the amenities were great too. If you want to visit most of the tourist spots around Kanazawa Station, it's within 2km vicinity so you could walk around too. Will return to stay at the hotel again if I ever return to Kanazawa again

Great location

This was my first stay in Kanazawa and this location was perfect. Not too close to the train station, but within a 2 minute walk to get to the main transportation hub. My room could have used a bit of TLC as there were scuffs and marks on the walls in the room, but that's just not picking.

This place was very clean and good quality. The only qualm I have is that there wasn’t a close crosswalk to get to the side of the road it was on(was a hassle with luggage), but that’s more of a placement problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Traveled with partner. Well located with super comfy beds and more spacious than other Japanese hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. However, the air is centrally controlled and you don’t have control over the temperature of your specific room. There is something there that looks like an air conditioner but you cannot control the temperature. Given it was November they had the heater on way too high and we had to sleep with the window open to keep it cool enough for us. It was still too warm in the room. Hilarious because it was 38 degrees F outside. So the air conditioning was the only issue but a major issue for us.

The sound of trains

Hotel Wing is a great option if you want to stay close to the station. The view from the terrace on the 13th floor is great. The room was more spacious than Japanese hotels in a similar price class, the bathroom was really good with a good selection of amenities, the bed was not bad at all, however, the proximity to the train tracks, kept disturbing me. People who do not mind such noise should definitely stay here.

Very accessible to JR Kanazawa Station. Also near to shopping centre Aeon. However, it is just next to the railway tracks so can hear the railway passing by if you are sensitive. I am okay with the slight noise. Hardly affecting my sleep as I am tired after a day of walking and sightseeing.

Location is good, 5mins walk to bus/JR stations. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Room is good size. Only thing i would pick on is the aircon. Not too stable and very noisy. I put at 24℃ with low fan, sometimes it is ok, sometimes suddenly it became hot, we tune to 23℃, after awhile it turned very cold.

The breakfast was most definitely not worth the money. We've had nothing but wonderful breakfasts since arriving in Japan 9 days ago, many were included in the room price, but this. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on this breakfast. Otherwise, the rooms were really quite nice and more spacious than typical and actually 2 small pillows, instead of just the typical one on your bed. The only other odd part is the lobby being located on the top floor.

Very clean tiny rooms in convenient location with helpful staff. We booked with breakfast. The breakfast was fixed Japanese set meal with no options for vegetarian/vegan. Even though we stayed five nights, they were not able make any accommodation for a vegetarian/vegan breakfast. Also, the listing in Expedia states that the hotel has a on premise restaurant however there wasn’t any restaurant in the hotel.
