Har intet at sætte en finger på. Alt var fremragende, tag en overnatning her hvis i skal til grænsen, designer outlet i neumunster eller bare skal køre gennem Tyskland. Kan varmt anbefales.

Vi havde et rigtig godt ophold på The Great North Hotel! Værelset var rent og pænt og personalet på hotellet var super! Alle, vi mødte, var utroligt venlige, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var et klart højdepunkt. Stort udvalg af friske produkter, en lækker juicebar og bobler gjorde det til en oplevelse ud over det sædvanlige. Der er dog et par ting, som kunne forbedres. Værelserne er ret lydte, og hotellets placering i et industriområde tæt ved en skydebane betød, at vi begge blev vækket af skud begge morgener (de skød fra morgen til eftermiddag) Vi savnede også mere information på engelsk om HolstenTherme. Det er fint, at saunaområdet er tekstilfrit – det var vi indstillet på – men vi blev noget overraskede, da Wasserland pludselig også blev tekstilfrit inden lukketid på grund af et særligt arrangement. Den information ville have været rart at få på forhånd, så ikke skulle gå forgæves. Sauna kulturen er fin, men gider ikke nøgensvømning uden varsel! Alt i alt et rigtig godt hotel med fantastisk service og en morgenmad i topklasse. Med lidt bedre information til internationale gæster og bedre lydisolering ville oplevelsen have været tæt på perfekt.

Fint hotell med gode fasiliteter. Betjeningen var hjelpsom og hyggelig. Ungene stortrivdes i bassengene. God mat og fine, store rom. Eneste minus er mangel på a/c. Vi fikk en vifte som hjalp, men rommet var i overkant varmt.

Flott rom, god frokost og veldig hyggelig personale. Sengene var gode, og det var rent og pent. Pluss med gratis parkering og to timer i badeland / wellness inkludert. Om kvelden var det mange romantiske par i bassengene. Det passet mindre godt for oss som reiste to foreldre og datter på 19 år.

Vores ophold i familieværelset på Great North Hotel levede desværre slet ikke op til forventningerne. Selvom selve værelset var både stort og lækkert indrettet, faldt oplevelsen til jorden på grund af en total mangel på basale faciliteter. Ingen aircondition: Værelset var placeret på den øverste etage, hvilket gjorde det ulideligt varmt. Særligt da udendørstemperaturen sneg sig op over 30 grader, var luften i rummet forvarm og direkte ubehagelig at opholde sig i. Defekt køleskab: Minibaren/køleskabet virkede overhovedet ikke. Massiv støj ved siden af hotellet: For at overleve varmen om natten var vi nødt til at sove med åbne vinduer. Desværre vendte vinduerne ud mod køkken af Holsten Therme, hvor vareindleveringen foregår. Meget tidligt om morgenen blev vi derfor vækket af en voldsom larm fra leveringer. Mangelfulde faciliteter: Udover den manglende køling, morgen overraskende - virkede kaffemaskinen heller ikke.

Flot ny renoveret hotel, som virkelig lever op til deres fire stjerner. Værelset var rent, og pænt og indbydende. Personalet var så søde og hjælpsomme hele vejen igennem. Vi blev mødt med et smil fra alle, selv gartneren. :) Vi havde lejet værelse fra torsdag-søndag, men måtte desværre tage hjem en dag før, da vi ramte weekenden med hedebølge, og vi havde hund med. Der er ikke aircondition på værelserne, men efter at have talt med personalet kom de med en dyson blæser til værelset. Dog var det ikke nok i hedebølgen, og vi var bekymret for at lade vores hund være alene på værelset. De tilbød et nyt værelse der lå mere i skygge, men det hjalp desværre ikke på varmen, og de hjalp os derfor med tidlig udtjekning. Dejligt behageligt, og vi vil bestemt komme tilbage en anden gang, hvor der ikke er så varmt. ;-) Morgenmaden var helt igennem fantastisk, der var buffet, som virkelig var lækker og man kunne presse sin egen juice. Derudover laver de egg Benedict og omeletter frisk til dig hvis du ønsker det. Badelandet var rigtigt fint. Vi nåede dog ikke spa’en. Badelandet havde 3 varmtvandsbassiner og 1 med “koldt” hvor man svømmede baner. Man får dog “kun” to timer om dagen i badelandet medfølgende opholdet. For 1 time ekstra var det omkring 5 euro og den næste time ville koste 3-4 euro. Men for en hel dag ville det aldrig overstige 9 euro. :-) Alt i alt mega god oplevelse. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ fem stjerner fra os.
