The pictures do not do it justice. If you are from North America this will give you the ultimate cozy Scandinavian vibe. The lighting, candles even during breakfast, and room decor was such a welcome in the cold rainy days in October. It was bare bones with no conditioner, shampoo, hair dryer but still simple, cozy with warm people working there. The beautiful library is across the street and great to see. So quick and easy to the downtown centre. Centrally located. We loved our stay!!

The staff were life-savers! They are all so friendly. All speak English very well. Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, or make easy arrangements. The room was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place.

Litet mysigt hotell. Enkel men helt ok frukost. Bra pizzor men något för brända. Lite onödigt. Fick skrapa bort en del med besticken.

Saknade garderob eller åtminstone krokar och galgar att hänga upp kläder på. Fanns endast för ytterkläder vid dörren. I övrigt utmärkt service, rent och fräscht.

Trevligt bemötande, önskemål om byte av rum fixades. Rum av äldre snitt, men skön säng med bra kuddar. Lagom frukost utan något extra. Praktiskt med restaurang och liten butik i hotellet.
