The city is nice and quaint. The Roadway Inn was disappointing.

Visiting family in area
The one thing l love about Kalkaska is that the town remains absolutely low key, which a plus when coming up from the City of Detroit
We have family living in the area so we are very familiar with the surroundings
Very rural. No close by shopping for forgotten items. Not very many dining options in the vicinity.
Not far to traverse city, Sleeping Bear, ate at Trout Town- excellent meal. Fish on Fridays was amazing.
