Yes the room was spotless. There was no staff…we never saw them. The location was perfect, near downtown shopping and not far from Safeway Supermarket. We cooked our own breakfast every morning. The kitchen equip with pots and pans pyrex dishes forks and knives, everything. There was also a restaurant below us “Ike’s Sandwich “ delicious.

The view was amazing and the condo had a large lanai with comfortable furniture to enjoy it. Everything was clean, and well stocked, including the kitchen for cooking meals. The building itself is a bit dated, but the condo was comfortable and the bedding, towels, etc. all felt fairly new. There was no AC, but the fans helped keep the temperature comfortable.

We loved the small unit we got. Everything worked great, we had everything we needed, the bed was great, AC unit worked great plus there were extra fans so the airflow we enjoyed was excellent. It was really a nice stay.

Our stay at Kona Bali Kai was very nice. The condo had a washer and dryer inside the unit, which was wonderful. The ocean view from the room was great. There was a pool and hot tub on site , which looked nice, but we never had a chance to try it out. The only thing that would have made it better would be an air conditioner.

Kona Bali Kai felt like a home away from home. All ammenities were in the room, including dishware and laundry. There were no added costs and the ocean was 50 yards away. The pool and hot tub were never busy, and locals and residents were great!

The view was absolutely gorgeous. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean and watching the surfers and sunset. The downtown was so cute! Downfall, there wasn't an air conditioner but this made for doors open and hearing the waves while laying in bed so it ended up being enjoyable.

Loved the hooks in the kitchen and bathroom, the bathroom basin, shower pressure, kitchen, Keurig coffeemaker. We especially love the comfortable king size bed. Thumbs up. I would return.

Overall, the property was excellent. Clean, comfy bed, good amenities (fully equipped kitchen with everything you need), quiet neighbors, free parking, pool, and easy access to public transportation if you don’t rent your own vehicle. It does have a rather bad drain fly problem. They were everywhere in the apartment. I ended up buying fly tape which did help a lot but they were still everywhere. This however, wouldn’t stop me from renting again. For the price I paid to get what we got with this place, it was well worth it.

Good stay and the waves were calming. Can’t beat the ocean view. One note is that we noticed the parking permit request slips were overfilled in the mailbox. It seems many people before us also crammed their slips in. We forgot to put up our parking permit one night. When we went to our rental the follow morning we flew out, we had a green warning label on the driver side window that was difficult to take off. Our stay was great up until that point. It made us wonder if that request slip we submitted had made it to management at all. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

This was the perfect location for our stay. We were a 1 mile drive from Magic Sands Beach and 1 mile drive to local shopping, dinning and entertainment! While we chose to drive everywhere, the location is totally walkable to all the attractions. Also, before booking I read reviews, and apparently other condos do not have AC. This one DOES have AC. Which was a nice surprise. Parking was effortless with lots of spaces available. Communication with the owner was easy. One more thing to note- they have an onsite laundry room we were able to use to do a load of laundry.

Everything was great we got to check in ourselves we came early and they let us check in early. The service when we had a problem was answered fast through the app. The Kona Bali staff was also very pleasant and very diligent. The only thing was the washer and the ac weren’t working and that would have helped a lot, but they had a laundry room for residents that we were able to use but it did cost money.. keep change on hand or use the app they have which totally saved us. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The apartment was fully stocked with what we needed and if we didn’t have something the store and market near by was convenient. The couch bed was rough but my mom tough it out. A new mattress would help a lot. The main bedroom and pillows were great. Because we were right by the beach some amenities would have been great. But other than that it was perfect for 3-4 people.
