Personal experience in ideal location

Absolutely perfect base for exploring the Big Island kama'aina style! The location is right in the heart of historic Kailua with so many things within walking distance. Property is run by a couple, so communication was fantastic and their care for the place really shows. The property is peaceful and scenic, with a great saltwater pool and relaxing screened lanai. Even better, it was fully stocked with beach gear, so the fact that I wasn't able to fit fins into my luggage was no problem!

This apartment was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in - so well equipped, with beach equipment, a full kitchen and plenty of towels and toiletries, as well as the washer and dryer (and cleaning products) too. The HUGE bed was very comfortable and I’ve never stayed anywhere with a carpeted balcony before! Even the little touches, like shopping bags to borrow to stock up with groceries. Supermarkets were just a couple of minutes drive, and the Kona Brewery less than 10 mins walk. The pool was clean and quiet and a dedicated parking space was really handy. We especially loved the digital lock which meant no keys to have to carry around and the location was just perfect for a short stroll into town. Communication was great too and I would not hesitate to come back here.

Good stay

The condo was comfortable and good for our family of 3. We would have liked a/c in the bedroom, but the one in the living space was fine. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and a plug-in fan that helps with the warm temperatures. There are beach chairs and other equipment for use stored on the lanai which was a nice perk.
