Definitely recommend staying at Mondello. We chose the 2 bedroom upstairs no. 12 unit, the best view to the snow capped mountains. The unit was very comfortable, spacious with a balcony to sit and take in the lovely views.It’s only a 5 minute walk away from the shops and restaurants.

The guys running this motel are such great people they can do nothing but succeed. On learning that we were there celebrating our 61st wedding anniversary, they 3D printed a beautiful rose and stand and presented it to us on checkout . They won us with that.

Pristine and perfect stay

Absolutely pristine and comfortable, well fitted out and lovely touches like dolphin shower curtain hooks, press-coffee pot, small patio with view of mountains. Occasional lamps in living room and bedrooms would have been nice as overhead light not romantic at all!

Clean motel within walking distance to various dining options. Room is very clean with a small fridge, kitchenette and basic utensils. Parking is a bit challenging. We did not use any of their services but the staff is polite and checking in is fast.

The manager was simply excellent… he catered for our late check in and when he heard about our upcoming sea adventure and inability to find a local chemist open, helped us in sourcing seasickness pills! He was a legend and lifesaver! Our stay was located at close walking distance to main part of town!
