The facilty is old & the room smelled of cigarettes, but everything else was wonderful. If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area.

Onsen hotel with goodlake view

This is a bit run down onsen hotel but still has an old charm. Onsen is, quite naturally, very nice. It has very open rotenburo (outdoor onsen). Only drawback is wooden wall which blocks lake view. Dinner and breakfast, with buffet style, was just plain. Overall, it is ok, not great.

非常にのんびりと出来るいい宿でした。

家族で宿泊しましたが、みんな非常に満足してました！ スタッフの方々の対応もよく、お風呂も優雅に入れました。 何より子供達が遊べれる物が沢山ありました。 カラオケ、卓球、ビリヤード、漫画、プール、ゲームセンター！ 今回プールは時間的に遊べれませんでしたが、 また機会があれば遊びたいと思います。 あと、夏限定なのか毎晩花火が上がるそうです！ 球数は少ないですが、間近で見れて迫力満点でした。
