“Simply wonderful and chilled out boutique hotel! Ideally located for excellent beaches and coastal towns, but tucked away in the rice paddies and jungle. Excellent”

“Sri Lankan Villa was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest. Everything in the villa had been thought through, and our stay was so comfortable and easy. Lovely balcony too for relaxing. The location was perfect - close to Koggala lake, the beach, our favourite little Café Wave (try the hot lava cake), the railway line, and even the little road the villa was on was quiet and good for an evening wander. Highly recommended.”

“Stunning hotel and amazing staff !! We went with the whole family and had an incredible time, would highly recommend”

“El hotel y el personal de 10. Una atención de todo el equipo increíble y la habitación genial. ”

“We have just enjoyed the most wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka which was made by the beautiful hotel and fabulous staff at Coast 67 in Ahangama. A stunning setting with gorgeous, quality wooden fixtures and fittings. We stayed for 9 nights which is unusual at this time of year and settled into the rhythm of the hotel very quickly. The staff make Coast 67 the most very special of places. Kind, caring, attentive calm and funny. They are a brilliant team and big thanks go to the chefs who adapted...

“Beautiful place to stay in ”

“Personalet var super søde, opmærksomme og meget hjælpsomme 😊”

“Very lovely place to stay in Ahangama. Beach is wide unlike other hotels. You can watch surfing in the morning. Rooms are big, air con great, food taste and staff amazing.”

“This place is not a hostel or a hotel. It has just three rooms above a cafe. The only good side is its location. It is just one minute away from Ahangama Train Station, so you don’t need to deal with tuk-tuk mafia. It is on the main road, probably in the most central location in Ahangama town. All famous cafes/bars are within walking distance. (The road and bars below can be a little noisy.) Very near to the beach. Negative sides: It is just a room, with no common areas or socialising...

“I like the cleanness of the rooms and the pool was clean well.”

“It was my girlfriend’s first time visiting Sri Lanka and Ahangama was the first place we had been on the coast since she got here. Because of this we decided to spend a bit more on a hotel for a bit of a nicer stay. However what we got from a Timeless Villa was not this. We had various basic amenities missing from our room, for example we had no hand towels and we also did not get a kettle so had to ask staff to get us one from another room. We also only had one plug point where the kettle was...

“Nice place”

“Fantastiskt rum och härlig balkong med kvällssol. Snygg interiör och färgval. Fin personal, bra frukost. Vi hade en fin vistelse och det är ett fint hotell men vi tyckte det saknades lite ”feeling”, hotellet kändes överlag mörkt och tyst trots att det bodde mycket människor där. Hade varit trevligt med lite musik på eftermiddagen/ kvällen som gav stället lite mer energi, tror det även hade lockat dit fler folk. ”

“Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow. Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels don’t like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. ”

“Firstly the reservation hadn't been received so I had to pay for the room again and rely on a refund from Hotels.com. Nice room but very noisy with train line adjacent to the building. Location wasn't great with a 20 min walk into Ahangama and no nearby restaurant or food shops. I left one night early but no refund for the unused night from the hotel. Overall not a good experience.”
