Great staff. Always friendly and accommodating. Very nice lobby and public areas. Was able to check-in early. We had minor issues and they were attended to promptly. Never had a hotel react so quickly before. Breakfast was excellent. We used the breakfast area for carry-in dinner several evenings. Pull out bed was not comfortable though; we used an air mattress we brought with us. Overall would highly recommend.

Stayed here several times before. It is a gilded era mansion with a modern wing of hotel rooms attached. The modern rooms are good except for the barn door bathroom door, no bedside table on one side of the bed, cheap furnishings and flooring showing wear, but we wanted to stay in one of the rooms in the actual mansion this time, even though I expect they are smaller. They checked us in to a modern room without saying anything and when I asked, they said they had an "availability problem." Ok, they overbooked the mansion rooms, but at least day something and apologize instead of just trying to pull the wool over my eyes. They also said I probably prefer the modern room since the room I booked was in the basement. BASEMENT? Nothing in the description of Deluxe Mansion Suite indicates basement. They have guest rooms on the 3rd and 4th rooms so that's what I was expecting. Staff was rude. The only way to get luggage cart in and out is through a wheelchair lift that requires special instructions. Electronic door code only worked once in many different tries.

Wonderful safe campus. Beautiful and historic. Parking fee very expensive unless you can get a package that includes. Almost $50 per night. Breakfast buffet very good but the same every morning. No variety. Toaster doesn’t work. Bistro staff very nice. Gated entrance with security. Our second stay here.
