The room was ok, only issue is the shower drain had gunk and hair coming out from prior tenants. Bathroom floor is very slippery if wet. Other than that, bed was super comfy and room was not too big or small. Grateful it had a refrigerator and microwave.

Check-in went smoothly and they gave me a "nicer" room. Room was clean. The AC worked which is always a blessing in Texas. Breakfast was the traditional continental breakfast plus a waffle machine and the area was clean. Check-out was easy as well. TV had all my favorite channels and also worked! Refrigerator and microwave worked well. All in all, a very great room for the price.

The good: comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower, cute coffee cart within walking distance and several restaurants. The bad: wifi signal didn't reach our room so no access, the cleanliness was questionable especially in the bathroom, and the breakfast was very limited, loud neighbors, cigarette smoke from neighboring rooms wafted into our room. I booked this motel based on the “Excellent” rating on Expedia. At best I would give this motel 2.5 stars.

This was just the way I like it: quick and easy to check in, quiet, and it didn't cost much. If you've never been to Junction, TX, it's a VERY small town with not a lot of action (which again, just the way I like it). I was there for less than 24 hours for work, but I've been to Junction many times over the years. I'll stay here again next time I'm working here or passing through. The only notes I have: the water in the shower wasn't very warm and the door knob on the closet was broken to the point that I decided to just not use it. Neither was a dealbreaker for me. For dinner I walked across the street to Isaack's restaurant and had a delicious chicken fried steak that tasted as good as it did when I ordered the same thing there 30 years ago when I went with my dad. The friendly waitress and I had a great conversation about a podcast we both enjoy. I can't wait for my next trip to Junction, and I'll stay at Sun Valley again.
