The staff communicated regularly before and during our stay. The Hill House was very clean. We had all amenities needed. Staff brought a breakfast basket with snacks and coffee every morning. The property was clean and quiet, but close to the town of Julian, CA. I highly recommend Orchard Hill.

This property is wonderful. The only thing missing is a restaurant. It would be a lovely space to be able to sit out with lunch etc. the staff is wonderful and the property felt secluded even being 5 min. from town.

We absolutely loved this place! It was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back. We got there on a Wednesday and the lady who checked us in was super helpful and sweet. Our room was nice and clean as well. There is no mini-fridge in the Lodge rooms, but there is a communal fridge at the end of each hallway to store leftovers and drinks and such. The hotel was nice and quiet up until the weekend, and even then it was probably busier than a typical weekend there because it was the 4th of July. It doesn’t seem like there is any central AC in the main areas of the hotel (or they never turned it on), but the AC unit in our room was very powerful and cold! Also, the homemade cookies they put out for guests on Saturday afternoon were phenomenal, and when I asked about them, they asked if I wanted more! All the staff was super nice and helpful, and the property is beautiful. It was also a short walk to everything in town, so it was the perfect place to stay! Like I said, we will be back!

We had such a great stay in Julian! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They truly made us feel right at home. Very cute, boutique hotel with large property. There is a main lodge and several casita's. We stayed in the main lodge, it's very nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable and staff were very friendly.
