Seaside cabins were amazing. Staff was super friendly. Resident seal would visit throughout the day. The Renfrew Pub staff and food was top notch. Will be back many more times.

We were disappointed by the view. This was the highlight of our vacation and we were so excited about having a room on the ocean. The single rooms only had the the warf view. I cked the reservation for the views but the video had a view of the ocean. The warf views only had views of the warf next to the boardwalk and wete not private.

Awakening to the sound of the tide coming into the inlet and enjoying the beauty of the setting made this a perfect getaway for us; the food in the pub was well prepared and delicious; being able to walk to such a great place for lunch and/or dinner was the perfect complement to this small resort.

The cottage we stayed had 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. The kitchen was a good size and the deck was very well maintained. It’s quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that we were not impressed was the sofa bed which wasn’t cleaned as we saw a few hair and popcorns when it’s opened up, but overall we had a good time there.

These "Casitas" are fabulous! Right on the wharf, but with private patios and privacy screens for windows, they make for a beautiful seaside getaway, with great comfort as well. And the pub is only a stone's throw away!

Unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest, and the bed was VERY loud and uncomfortable. They definitely need to upgrade their beds and pillows. The scenery was stunning!

Beautiful View from the 2 bedroom seaside cottage, so peaceful & relaxing. The internet was quite spotty, & the frying pans in the kitchen could stand to be replaced. Loved that there were extra pillows & blankets in the closet. Overall a wonderful experience!

Pictures depicted a private garden suite. Not true. The windows all opened up where everyone can see into our suite. No private fireplace as advertised. It is literally sitting out on a patio looking out onto a public dock. Check in was 3 pm and check out was 10am but the cottage was not available at 3pm and were told to go to the bar and wait until 315 to 330. Went to have shower in AM could not figute out faucet. Tried to contact them and no one was there until 10am. Didnt answer phone until 10 15 am. Was told that you had to pull super hard out to get water to turn on. Wont be returning. False advertising

We came for the trees. What we got was that and more. The cabin itself was cozy and delightful. We loved the gas fireplace and our little private fire pit that we used on our patio the first night. The second night had a baby snowstorm, so we stayed in. Ate both nights at the pub, because it was low season and nothing else in town was open, but it was great and we loved the food and service. The staff is low-key but friendly and professional. The property is well-maintained and a wonderful place to come home to after spending the day tromping around woods and beaches. What an unforgettable, restful few days in Port Renfrew!

The property is on the water and very peaceful. It is a great location to explore Port Renfrew. You can walk to one of the few restaurants available in the area. The service desk is not onsite. The internet is slow and unreliable. They really need to mop the floors when they clean the rooms.

Ours was a cottage in the row of cottages. Beautiful setting on the pier. Enjoyed the front sitting area with a fire table watching people go by. Inside was cabin like but very comfortable. Bath tub/shower plumbing was finicky- had to push/pull to change from tub to shower snd hot/cold. Communication by email only. Instructions easy yo follow.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. Was a bit disappointed after reading previous reviews about cleanliness. I took off my shoes inside the cottage and looked at my white socks and they were black on the bottom! So I don't think the floor had been mopped in a long time. Everything else looked and seemed clean. My only other issue was the king bed. It needs to be replaced (unit #5). Didn't sleep that great- every time you moved it sounded like firecrackers going off below making it difficult to have a restful sleep. I'm thinking the bed spring needs to be replaced. For the rate we paid, I expected a better quality bed. Otherwise, a nice little cottage!
