Vacations Close To John Custis' Tomb

It was a bit loud at times. We were on the bottom floor and the folks above us were quite noisy!

Having a full kitchen made such a difference with my picky grandchildren. We were able to shop near by, prepare meals we enjoy and avoid the mediocre overpriced tourist food experience. They enjoyed the indoor pool when it was raining and we couldn't be on the beach!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach North Beach exceeded every expectation! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Burke made check-in quick and seamless while providing a thorough overview of everything the property has to offer. Since it was our first visit, we really appreciated him taking the time to explain the amenities and activities available throughout our stay. Levi truly made our vacation special. He checked in with us every day to make sure we were comfortable and asked if we needed fresh towels, toiletries, or anything else. That level of genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. The amenities were fantastic! The pools were beautiful and made for the perfect vacation photos. We also loved the home theater, where they offered multiple movie showings throughout the day and even served freshly popped popcorn before each showing (except the evening movie). It was such a fun and thoughtful touch for families and guests of all ages. We also had dinner at the Isle of Capri on the sixth floor, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant has an elegant, classy atmosphere with elevated views that made the evening feel extra special. If you're looking for a beachfront hotel with outstanding customer service, fun amenities, and a staff that genuinely cares about your experience, I highly recommend Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach North Beach. We can't wait to come back!

Room was dirty, no towel in it, no microwave, microwave is a basic necessity in every hotel! I couldn't sleep properly, I was sinking into the mattress.

Entire stay was excellent from the staff to how well the building was maintained and the rooms were very clean and smell very good, there was ample parking at the garage across the street

Property was clean, and staff friendly.

Location was the only reason I gave 2 stars. The staff was great but the hotel is very rundown. We had a suite for 6 nights and the price was obnoxious for the space. The shower didn’t drain while showering, so you showered in your own filth. Took 10 minutes to finally drain. The toilets didn’t flush right half the time. The place needs lots of maintenance and everything felt a bit dirty. Had many families staying there that we knew and everyone wasn’t impressed. We definitely didn’t get what we paid for. Would try some other place if we ever go back.

Staff was friendly and polite. Rooms were clean.
