This hotel was outstanding, and the staff seemed happy to go above and beyond to be helpful! The breakfast was amazing (best mushroom toast in my life), the room clean and well designed, the bed comfortable, the shower powerful, and the location was convenient and safe. Room 610 was quiet and perfect. Room 1010 had an odd high-pitched sound occasionally that was a bit bothersome. It’s a little high in price, but still a lovely hotel.

Great stay at The Hyde in Johannesburg. The location is excellent and felt very safe. It’s surrounded by restaurants and shops, so everything you need is right there. All the e-hailing drivers knew exactly where it was, which made getting around really easy. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. It’s a great base for exploring the city, and we would happily stay here again.
