More like a B&B

More like a B&B than a hotel. Food good but limited choice. Metal keys and decor a bit dated.

magnificant views

beautiful property with magnificent views and grounds, lovely large suites. We were disappointed with the dinner a very limited choice, 2 options , and it would appear to be the same menu as served in the previous day's wedding ! excellent wi-fi coverage

Hotel excelente.

Hidden paradise in the heart of Johanesburg.

Great service, staff very attentive and efficient, rooms too notch in comfort and cleanliness, and the restaurant 5 stars, don't miss the chance to stay at the View boutique if you are in Johannesburg.

The View with a view, indeed

The View is a very good hotel with a really nice view from the backyard, true to its name. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, with an extra-long bathtub, and a separate shower area as well. It's a gated complex, so one can park one's car safely. It's not right next to any shops or restaurants etc, but a short drive takes care of that. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They also have a full-service restaurant. Breakfast and lunch were quite reasonable, while dinner sprang a surprise because the prices weren't indicated on the dinner menu. The food, however, was very well prepared and presented beautifully. The cold breakfast is complimentary (oats, juice, tea, bread, salami etc.) while the hot breakfast is ordered separately and charged extra. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay here.
