Great place to stay

More like a boarding house than a hotel but great place to stay. I had no a lovely room with small courtyard view,room had fridge, desk and chair, microwave, jug and tea/coffee, TV, bed was comfortable and very friendly and helpful people. It is in a safe area and a short walk to cafes and shops.

Terrible,we went to check in in the Evening,only for the guard to tell us that there was no electricity for the past 3 days...we had to book elsewhere and the owner Nicky promised to refund us Contstant lies and excuses but no refund...

Rather dissapointed

The room was clean however the safe did not work. I did not feel as there was no visible security on site on the night that I stayed there. The rooms are not sound proof. If you like the sound of passing traffic and the sounds of people fornicatting. I would suggest you pass then. There was no back up electricity as there was load shedding (no electricity) at the time. The breakfast selection was bland and the selection was minimal.

Nice, stylish, quiet B&B

The hotel is a nice, stylish bed and breakfast located in a quiet residential area of Johannesburg. The name is really a misnomer. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even made me boiled eggs the evening before when I had to leave early for a safari. It’s a little out of the way though and you have to take Uber to get anywhere, but it’s definitely worth the price!

Good value for money, great location and staff

This is our second time staying at Hotel Mi Pi Chi. It is such a little gem of a guesthouse offering all you need in a clean, safe and airy house. Will definitely recommend to friends and fellow travellers when in Melville.
