One of the best stays that I’ve ever had. The property is beautifully designed - like a hidden cache of green, fertile ground in a desert. The staff demonstrated high attentiveness without the overwrought, hammy nonsense that you receive throughout India. Instead, the staff seemed kind and dignified - an attitude commensurate with the beauty of the facility. The hotel advised us, at checkin, that we should not tip anyone until checkout - at which time, the hotel would share our tip across its staff. The room was super comfortable with a large, well-appointed bathroom. We enjoyed the pool (where the staff would occasionally serve complimentary snacks (eg roasted corn-on-the-cob, sweet lassi, etc…). We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant more than other food venues in the city. No complaints! Really great place!

Modern day Mughal baug

Lovely room with a private courtyard with a view of mehrangarg fort. By day if feels like a small Mughal Baugh and by night it’s beautifully light up and have a spectacular view of the fort on roof bar. Staff is very helpful.

Excellent Property & food. But not good location

The property, staff , service and food is excellent. Everyday we had different cuisines of food in the property restaurant and it was fantastic. The service is very good and staff is also courteous. The swimming pool was very well maintained. The crowd was good with few foreigners as well. Only thing we did not like the location is right in the center of old town. Its located in the old town with a mosque next to it that starts prayer at 5am which disturbed our sleep and then few number of times in the day. Right adjacent to the property are the old buildings where people are staying who can easily look into your room (when the window is open). Between the Fort and the hotel there are many old buildings so one should not expect the photos displayed on the site. Rest if you are ok with the small issues mentioned then the property is value for money

Had a deadly cold and it was rainy and chilly in Jodhpur. But at $600 USD.nt you would think that one's room is heated. NOT SO! I finally got a space heater that was broken but on complaining NOTHING was done! And the food was mediocre. And if you get a Heritage Suite as I, good luck with the lights. I had 22 different fixtures in my room with the switches hidden in odd places so that I had to call front desk to turn them off on going to bed. BUT THE WORST PART----- a mosque behind the hotel that blasted 10000-decibel prayers at dawn and after dark, and for two nights at 10 pm awakening me with 40-minute loudspeaker prayer!

Exceptional hotel in the heart of Jodhpur Old City. Outstanding service by staff, very helpful and kind. Clean and modern rooms, superb breakfast in great atmosphere. Pool available, but no gym. If we’d come back to Jodhpur, we’d would be staying in RAAS again. Best choice for central and high-class overnight stay

This hotel is a truly special place. The view of the fort is stunning and creates a dreamy backdrop for the beautiful historic rooms. At night the whole courtyard is lit with candles. It's magical. The staff are extremely helpful and hospitable. It's also conveniently located near shopping and historical sites. We had such a wonderful stay, we were sad to leave.

Beautiful property.

Loved our stay at RAAS. Beautiful property. Very comfortable stay. Loved the rooftop bar looking up to Jodphur fort. Food was great and spa service’s wonderful. Would stay again if in the area.

Very modern clean rooms - surprising as it's in the old town. Restaurants are good. Their is a mosque very lose to the property which can get very noisy with calls to prayer. Also, the property should have spectacular views of the fort and does for certain rooms. Not sure why the architects didn't put a restaurant/bar on roof of tallest building. There is a bar on top of the restaurant but the views are blocked somewhat by other rooms on the property.
