I was actually suspicious when I read some of the glowing reviews saying it was a highlight of their Indian trip…but this place really was a wonderful spot and a highlight for us too—we wished we had more time to spend here. Hotel Ratan Villas is absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful and decorated in a sympathetic way to the heritage of the building. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a good selection. The a la carte menu food is delicious. All staff are polite and helpful. This is one of our favourite stays of anywhere in the world.

Perfect end to our travels

Ratan villas offered us a place to escape to amid the hustle and bustle of jodphur. Morning site seeing followed by lunch and an afternoon relaxing round the pool. The owner, manaager and staff were polite, attentive and helped us organise tours and taxis where needed. Rooms were perfect, large bed, plenty of storage and air conditioning good. Food was good and reasonablely priced. Love the back story to this place too, home from home Would defo recommend to anyone.

I just had a lovely stay at Hotel Ratan Vilas - charming property with excellent staff! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the staff was super helpful in arranging a driver and tour guide and transfers to/from the airport. Very reasonably priced as well.
