The food was AMAZING. The staff are friendly and engaging. The rooms are huge, with private balconies. It’s a quiet and away from the hussle and bustle. There are other bars and restaurants in the street with a fantastic coffee shop about 200metres down the road towards the beach. Lovely relaxing holiday. Thank you La Joya

Spacious comfortable and clean room, nice decor and furnishings. Pool great, always plenty of sun loungers. Good breakfast and food but not many eat out of resort options nearby. Beach is a short walk down some steps.

A quiet and affordable resort, which is out of the way, remote and about a 45 minute ride from Denpasar Airport (expect traffic delays to and from the resort). The resort is perched high on a cliff face overlooking the beach which is ~100m below. Access to the beach is via a steep stairway, no handrails, ~80 steps from the cliff top to the beach. There are plenty of warungs along the beach. Be mindful, after a few beers and a meal you will have to navigate back up the stairs or walk up a reasonably steep incline road to get back to the resort. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. No TV. WiFi was very good, fast and reliable. Restaurant meals were very tasty, full sized portions yet marginally pricey when compared with neighbouring resort menus. There are two pools, with plenty of deck chairs and lounges. Staff were exceptional, very professional, polite and courteous. I would stay there again, no longer than a few days because of its remoteness from shops, restaurants, and easy beach access. If your a fan of Legion, Kuta, Sanur areas and nearby activities, La Joya Resort is not for you.

This place was amazing, the beach is only a 2 minute walk down a path from the resort. Staff were amazing and always happy to help and the sunset yoga was a bonus. Pool area was so nice and room was frequently cleaned and perfect size for 3 people

Staff 10/10, location 8/10, local beaches 7/10, resort 8/10, room, extremely cute, but a little complicated with the doors, insect and reptile access, had very few, but some insects and lizards in the room, but that’s part of the experience I guess, that style of resort. And I did choose the basic room, so maybe upgrade if you’d like. Though my room was sweet and comfortable, just the doors are small lol

We loved our stay at La Joya. Located in a quiet area, so don’t expect lots of restaurants in the area. Nice pool area, located right next to the restaurant. The restaurant served fantastic breakfast, cocktails and foods. All staff extremely helpful and service minded. The bungalows feels very private, with your own gardens where you can chill in the evenings. Only downside is bad sound isolation (motorbikes and animals, i.e barking dogs etc.), which is quite annoying during the night. For the price paid - we couldn’t ask for more!

A beautiful place. The staff were amazing. The menu was extensive and delicious. Room was very comfortable. Lovely piece of the Bali that was once easily found on the Bukit, still unspoilt by massive high rise and bars. A very relaxing place to stay.

Would recommend staying here - nice, quiet location with beach access. The hotel was lovely - clean, calm, and extremely friendly staff.
