“Brand new small hotel with very friendly staff in a great location for Karakol and Lake Issyk-Kul south shore. Modern rooms, interesting decor, comfortable beds and good heating plus a coffee shop. Excellent value for money, and would stay again if I return to the area.”

“The hotel has been conceived in a modern style but there is certainly no upkeep. Broken fixtures, lack of cleanliness, hot shower not working, blocked drains and many other issues spoiled our stay. Breakfast served in the room was a big disappointment. For the money charged, it should have been much better rather than a nominal cold platter with no variety at all. “Came for a week during the off-season (September).
Good: Price was good, scenery was excellent, environment was peaceful and quiet, cabin was well-maintained with good cooking/sleeping/bathroom facilities.
Bad: We didn’t realize the resort was in a park and entrance tickets needed to be purchased daily, including for Yandex (Russian Uber) drivers. In addition, the Yandex price was a whopping 4-5 times higher to go to Karakol from Ski Paradise compared to ordering a ride around town.
