Super easy check in and responsive host. The space was clean with a spacious bathroom and comfy bed. I loved the location, super close to Jeonju hanok village.
Dana Haru Guesthouse
WOW! Words can’t express how magnificent this place and its location are. I’m a semi-retired traveler exploring South Korea for 26 days on a budget, and if I had known about Jeonju Hanok Village sooner, I would have stayed four nights instead of two.
The location is fabulous, and the guesthouse is perfectly organized with excellent communication. The area feels very safe—which may sound obvious, but coming from the United States, it’s something we truly appreciate.
The room is spacious and spotless, with a super-comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower are equally clean and modern. I loved the thoughtful hallway décor with flowers—it has a minimalist yet detailed charm that I absolutely adore.
The kitchen has all the essentials and is kept very clean. I actually felt nostalgic when leaving—there are so many wonderful cafés nearby, each with its own character.
I truly plan to return within a year. Jeonju has become one of my favorite spots in all of Korea. 🌸

Not sure what the floor discoloration was—hopefully it wasn’t mold. It would’ve been nice if it was explained. Overall, I could sense how the manager cared for the facility—- I noticed the flowers were changed daily and common area organized daily. I wished the showers on second floor were better ventilated, or the doors kept opened to let in fresh air.
I appreciated the hair dryer, the mug cups, microwave, towels, and refrigerator. And the fresh flowers and cute little decorations here and there.
For the price, it was worth the experience. Thank you for your service!
The accomodation was really nice, I liked the traditional but modern accentive atmosphere. The host was kind, helpful and spoke english well. The accomodation is only 5 minutes walking from the traditional hanok village and the nambu market. Highly recommend it!
A lot of space in my room, a TV, a fridge in the kitchen. I had access to a small bathroom and shower.
I liked the location. It was near the Hanok Village and other attractions.
Even if there is no reception, checking in was simple and easy with the small memos (post-it) in the guesthouse.

The beds were super uncomfortable, you feel the springs in your back. The bathroom gets wet when you shower and there’s nothing to dry it. Refrigerator didn’t cool down. The light went through curtains. Host did her best, facilities need help
