Vacations Close To Jennifer Sears Glass Art Studio

Stayed 2 nights with no issues. Location felt safe and convenient to walk to places downtown. It is right in town so there is noise at night. Stay was comfortable.

Landscaping around property was shabby with empty flower pots Our room smelled musty. It was not cleaned on day 1 and our neighbors room service was left for several days and not picked up until I asked The restaurant did not open until 8am on a Saturday as staff did not show up Advertised as a “Kimpton” property but apparently new owners took possession a month ago.

Parking was difficult. Spaces were narrow and one lot was very steep. The lot below the A building meant hauling your bags up stairs . The air conditioning fan was very loud but at least it worked. The handicapped shower was not laid out well, In that I couldn't sit in the shower chair facing the water controls and reach the bath gel and shampoo behind me. The clothes hooks on the bathroom door were too high for someone in a wheelchair to reach. There was no usable bathroom counter space. We could hear the people above us too loudly I did appreciate the complimentary Japanese Garden tickets.

Showed up and the man yelled at me that there were no rooms left and that I needed to cancel my booking. Called Expedia to get a refund and I’m still waiting to see if I’m going to get my refund because the property manager refuses to speak to anyone.

Great location in downtown Portland, very walkable!!
