Generally, the hotel is ok. Checking-in was a bit tricky since the code box with the key was hard to find. It was evening and the road was pretty dark. The staff asks you to fill out a form for the breakfast order and to throw that form into a mailbox, which as well was not easy to find. Breakfast was good, however. You will notice the age of place but all is clean and tidy and the staff is friendly.

The check-in is total anonymous. There were several guests who had not received the Code for the key Box and were totally lost. No phone number, no service at the hotel. Staff isonly present during breakfast time

The breakfast was not what I expected. It was ok, but I was a little bit disappointed... Also it was not included in my reservation and so I was charged for it as a separate fee. This was a surprise to me as everything I had seen indicated it was included. The first time I saw any sort of pricing for it was when I was actually paying with my credit card. Someone somewhere in the exchange was completely disingenuous. I'm sure there could be some finger pointing, but the fact is I had no idea until I was asked to pay. The place was nice enough and the location is great if you're visiting Jena. Kind of a bohemian vibe though.

Leider sind wir total enttäuscht. Der angegebene Parkplatz ist kaum nutzbar. 2 Parkplätze sind so angelegt, dass man entweder gar nicht in die Parklücke kommt oder 2-3 andere Autos zuparkt. Die ganze Unterkunft ist total abgerockt. Im Hausflur ist eine Stufe kaputt und im Flur ist der Teppich durchgelaufen. Alles alte Möbel, was nicht schlimm ist, wenn sie nicht kaputt wären. In unserem Zimmer war fast alles kaputt bzw. sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das sah man den Möbeln auch an. Geschlafen haben wir sehr schlecht, weil die Betten kaputt waren. Ich lag in so einer Kuhle, dass ich mich nachts nicht drehen konnte. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind altersbedingt auch nicht mehr in Ordnung. Türen, Armaturen usw. waren auch nicht mehr in Ordnung. Ein Hausmeister könnte vieles richten. Ansonsten war im Zimmer und besonders im Bad alles gut gesäubert. Bei den Bedingungen ist das unglaublich und ein Lob sowie Anerkennung an die Reinigungskraft. Leider kommt dieses Haus als Unterkunft für inseren jährlichen Jena-Besuch nicht mehr in Frage.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt, das Zimmer war jedoch sauber, sehr kleines Bad. Unkompliziertes und freundliches Einchecken über E-Mail und Telefon. Kostenlose Parkplätze hatte es leider keine mehr, da ein überdimensionaler Bus im Innenhof alles beschlagnahmte. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze sind jedoch vor dem Hotel. Perfekt gelegen für Restaurants und Bars.

Es ist ein tolles Hotel, der Betreiber ist sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind groß genau so wie das Badezimmer. Einziges Manko ist der Wasserdruck der Dusche. Ich glaube aber nicht das dies am Betreiber liegt

: Preis/Leistungsverhältnis : fußläufig vom Zentrum/Paradies-Bahnhof erreichbar : am Tag vor dem Frühstück sollte man ankreuzen, was man essen möchte. So wurde Lebensmittelverschwendung verhindert -: etwas dunkel, Charme der 50er -: Nach Beendigung des Frühstücks wurde eine Tür zu den Zimmern mit Alarmsicherung verschlossen, das war etwas komisch.

Aufgrund der Corona Pandemie wurde weitestgehend auf den Kontakt verzichtet, dadurch ist die Bewertung des Personals eher schwierig. Es war sauber, ein Altbau und hat zum Übernachten vollkommen ausgereicht. Leider gab es schon am zweiten Abend Probleme mit dem TV, was das Abschalten etwas erschwert hat. Dadurch dass es kaum Kontakt gab, wares eher schwierig, jemanden abends aif dieses Problem hinzuweisen.
