The evening restaurant staff was over worked but being she was the only waitress she was kind and professional. She was apologetic for being the only waitress but also professional. The bar guy was helpful to her. Other than that the experience was good.

Checkin staff wasn't at the desk when I arrived and took 15 minutes to arrive (had to send a random other staff member to go find them) so my family was frustrated waiting in the car. When I mentioned it, the front desk guy refused to admit that it was anything over 5 minutes (probably because the sign said "back in five") but of course I know exactly what time we arrived because of GPS. I didn't press it further but that was extremely frustrating that he didn't just apolgize, just refused to admit it. Then the breakfast staff was super rude when I went to checkout and explained that my father had already paid then moved to my table to sit with us while we ate. She made an awful comment like "that seems unlikely, but whatever". The swimming pool was a highlight but very murky water 😬 All in all, the place looked like it was really nice at one time in history.. but had not held up well over the years. .. I appreciated the lower price in comparison with other hotels in the area, but just be aware that there's a reason for this.

The pool looked amazing, but they didn’t enforce their own rules, and the manager kept yelling at everyone. They stated only x number of bands to use the pool, and then it was a free-for-all that ended without being able to use the amenities we came for during our stay.

Good Internet service. We did not bring our pet so I don't know if they're pet friendly. They had a nice indoor swimming pool but it was very crowded so we didn't use it. The view out of our window was great with a view of the lake and there were geese and ducks swimming in the lake. We watched a beautiful sunset out of our window.

The room I stayed in needed an updated bathroom overall the building still looks like it needs some updates, corridors, coping paint, and and to get to the section where I was staying in the eye section it was quite a bit far from the lobby. This was OK for a two nights stay that I was there you know and it was pretty. The price was pretty good.
