The hotel is fancy and the ambiance was great. The room is super. The staff is friendly. The area around is Ok but close to Airport and easy access through any Careem taxi, took us 2 min to have Careem at the door step. Room was clean and house keeping was wellcoming, room service was cooperative. Will do it again.

I booked to stay at the last moment as I had a 11 hour layover. It was within 15 minutes of Jeddah airport and on arrival well past midnight at around 3:30 am, the front office staff was super friendly and hadn't yet received the expedia confirmation on his system, but he still checked me in. The room was clean and the concierge at the front was also super helpful at that hour. I would totally recommend the hotel for last minute stays.

Old & bad furniture

This hotel does not worth the money I paid. It’s a very old hotel and many if the furniture need to be replaced or foxed immediately. Do not recommend it

New Movenpick hotel

It was lfine. Nice helpful staff. Building is brand new so few teething problems e.g. shower runs hot and cold and air conditioning occasionally whistles, but the techs fixed that each time very quickly. Nice pool that just opened while I was there. Note: There are 2 Movenpick Hotels on same road and taxis always took me to the old one.....they need to have more distinct names e.g. Movenpick Grand and Movenpick Star!!
